Coffee with MarkZ. 04/17/2025
There were some phenomenal meetings yesterday in Iraq. And today we get the yo-yo effect with some of the stories. Well, we’re not ready.
We are ready. We’re not ready. We are ready.
We get one golden day, one off day. Very much similar to the lead up when we have seen value change or significant value changes in other countries in modern history. Little twangy.
Let’s go ahead and turn it over. I’m going to stay in chat because so many of you guys have questions. And I know we’re pressed.
Time is just completely whacked. So I’m going to turn Stacey Z loose when she gets back to her desk. Melody, PR is going through a hard time.
Yeah, but Puerto Rico, guys, we’re used to it. We’re used to the poor infrastructure. We’re used to a poor government response.
Not that the government’s responding poorly on this one at all. I mean, there’s still $8 billion tied up roughly for updating the power grid system here on the island that hasn’t been spent yet from Maria from Trump’s administration. So we have great hope here under the current administration and the governor here working very closely with the Trump administration and with Scott percent to update infrastructure here.
So we’re extremely hopeful. Those of us on the island are. Many of us are, I should say.
There’s still the political hacks out there that can’t see one way or the other because of their bias. So I’m enjoying this one and I’m just waiting for her to get back to the desk. So I’ll probably just play with some questions if you guys would like.
While we wait, please shout out Dickie H and remind him to water the garden this afternoon. All right, Dickie. It’s good to see you in here.
Now get busy and water the garden. Karen, yes, the senator that went to El Salvador attempted to make negotiations without approval. So, yeah, you can argue that violated the Logan Act.
There’s so many historic records of people doing something similar. I think you’d have a tough time with prosecution. But it’s very real.
Precedence is what’s going to throw it a curve on that one. Steve Lee, bond people are not getting paid on currency. So while they are going to know the rate that they are accepting for their bonds they’re selling and know they are not sharing that number, that appears to be something that is very secretive or being controlled in that information.
But they’re not being paid on currency. So, no, they’re not going to know your currency rate yet. Milton, that was my other story about the censorship machine right there in the Rubio one.
I’ve got a lot more I was hoping to get to but I’ve not had because of the lack of Internet, guys, lack of ability to reach out to people. All the Internet-based communication has been down until, I mean, literally five minutes before I posted the time for the show. So my normal few hours was limited to about 30 minutes this morning to get ready.
Information-wise. Steve, been here over three years and I love it. Love this place.
Yes. One man’s responsible for, yeah, I’m a one-man show. Rain Man, I hope he’s right.
I hope he’s right. All right, we have Stacey Z in the house. I’m going to let her run over on this one.
Yeah, Jimbo, there’s plenty of housing, man. Come on, brother. You would love it down here.
There are pretty much entire abandoned towns left for Maria in the mountains. I want to say completely but many of them that have just lost tremendous populations and is beautiful. Just beautiful.
Oh, yeah, birthday song before she takes over. I should. My buddy Craig, Sarah, who else? Let’s do that.
Dave, that song wasn’t silly. It was fantastic. Anybody else? I’m looking for more birthdays.
Give me more birthdays. All right, well, we got two. Daily, I appreciate you liking my one-man show.
I do hope someday to grow up and have a little bit of help behind the scenes so I don’t have to push all the camera buttons and stuff. Links, I can have somebody else’s help. It would be fun, like post-RV, looking forward to it.
Hello, Nancy. It’s good to see you in the house. Hello, Joe.
Wait, wait, wait. Bill turned 82 yesterday. Scott Little celebrating a birthday.
Carl’s birthday was yesterday. Happy birthday, Mr. Reeves. Brittany’s birthday.
I see that one over there. I am pretty excited. Yeah, YouTube’s working.
It is the Easter weekend. I’m pretty excited. Bill and Linda, medical services, they’re just fine here.
More public use, how do I put that? A lot of people take advantage of government supplemented insurance on the island, so getting an appointment’s a little bit of a tough one, but if you have better insurance, you move to the front of the line for the doctors here because they don’t have to wait as long to receive their money. If you have dollars, the healthcare here is great. If you have to go through, just because of the overload on the system for the folks that need the government help, and with the cost of medical anything right now, I can see why they would need the supplements.
Totally makes sense. Dr. Scott is planning on joining tonight. Postal service does suck, boss.
We got regular guys running around the regular postal trucks. It’s just an island that needs a little investment. They got screwed since Maria.
Red Sky, I am told that we will not be taxed. I am prepared just in case. I picked up extra currency so that I still don’t really take a hit.
I figured it was cheaper than setting up all kinds of crazed tax structures when we don’t know what things are going to look like. That was my approach. You guys take your own approach.
This one is for information, entertainment, call it whatever. I’m not a financial advisor. My granny is 101 today.
Wow, that is awesome, Karen. Happy birthday. All right.
Let’s sing some happy birthdays and then turn her loose, and I will stay bouncing back and forth between chat to try to answer as many questions as I can. So they tell me it’s your birthday. Well, happy birthday, darling.
May you live, may you love, may all your dreams come true. Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to all those that are celebrating.
Sewage works pretty well here now in some of the older downtown areas where the sewage system is very antiquated. You don’t get the flush things like, you know, toilet paper. But if you are anywhere else and you’ve got a septic, septic works really well on the island because of the poor soil and sand rock.
So for us, it works just fine. No problems at all. It works like normal.
It’s only if you’re in, like, one of the older downtown areas that you get the short end of the stick. Other than that, real simple. Guys, other than Amazon taking two or three weeks, there really is the only difference.
Well, that you get to live free, which is awesome. All right. Now I’m bringing her in.
Oh, my goodness. So I have to say happy birthday, Granny 101. Fantastic.
That is something to, I mean, like, to be celebrated in a big way. 101. Absolutely.
Here’s a good side one. Do you want to answer this question? How will we be notified when the big day comes? Yes. You are going to go sign up at Denar Recaps, and then they are going to send something out notifying everyone.
I was told a long time ago that by two different banking organizations that are participating, that they would send their notice to the only site they mentioned verbatim was Recaps, and they said, and other news aggregating sites, they would send the details to them when it is time for them to send to their mailing list. So that’s your easiest way. If you bought from a bank, they’re probably going to reach out to you.
If you bought from one of the larger, more reputable exchanges, they’re probably going to reach out to you as well. This is not something you’re going to miss, guys. Don’t worry on that front.
All right. I should turn you loose and get in here and answer some things in chat. Rain man caught what I said.
Didn’t mean to. Okay. Good morning, everyone.
Wow. Challenges all around with all the fun stuff. So, hey, what we are going to talk about today is very important and it will help get you to 101 years old, too.
It’s called activating your gut health and why it is so important. It plays a pivotal role in fighting disease and aging. So the immune system regulation, the gut microbiome is essential for the development and function of the immune system.
70% of your immune system lives in your gut. So very, very important. Inflammation control.
Chronic inflammation is a root cause of many diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. So a balanced gut microbiome helps regulate the body’s inflammatory response, potentially lowering the disease risk. Actually, it’s not potentially.
It does. It’s absolutely proven. And it helps with your barrier function.
So a healthy gut maintains strong intestinal barrier, preventing harmful substances from entering the flood stream and causing systemic inflammation and disease. And that systemic inflammation and disease causes aging. It’s a terrible thing.
It’s a round and roundabout. It’s bad. It helps with nutrient absorption.
Optimal gut health ensures the efficient absorption of nutrients, vitamins and minerals that are critical for the body’s defense mechanisms against illness. It detoxifies you as well. Not only the NRF2 and glutathione, but the gut helps too in detoxifying harmful compounds, reducing the burden of toxins that the liver must process and therefore thereby supporting overall health.
Longevity. So we can all be granny’s age at 101. So research suggests a link between a diverse gut microbiome and longevity.
A healthy gut can influence lifespan by impacting inflammation, immune function and metabolism. That metabolism thing is very important. They’re actually recreating that food pyramid because our food sources are so horrible.
So neurological health and guys, I’m going to do a huge one just like I did on the gut in the metabolism and the heart. I’m going to do a big presentation on the gut and brain health. But your neurological health is completely linked to the gut brain access because it’s all in charge of cognitive function and mental health.
So a healthy gut can reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, improved mood, in which both factors are very important in aging. Well, most of your neurotransmitters, 30 of them are created in the gut. Very important people.
Cellular health. The gut microbiome influences the health of cells by affecting oxidative stress levels and DNA repair mechanisms, both of which are critical for preventing premature aging and age related cellular damage. So it’s also very important for physical health and mobility.
So inflammation and nutrition deficiencies linked to poor gut health can impact muscle strength, bone density and overall physical capability factors, which are crucial for healthy aging. They are creating all these studies about your muscle and your longevity. So very, very important.
So why do we want to activate our gut health? So the gut microbiome is an intricate and diverse community of microorganisms residing in the digestive tract, which plays a pivotal role in the health and function of multiple body systems. Its influence extends far beyond the gastrointestinal tract. So it’s tied very closely to weight and obesity, energy, stress, mood, sleep, immunity, eye health, allergies, acne, eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, hormone, regular bone health, osteoarthritis, the C word, diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, heart disease.
What did we find out recently? Oh, it has everything to do with cholesterol levels too. Hashimoto’s, Graves, asthma, COPD, autism, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, depression, anxiety, Crohn’s, IBS, ulcerative colitis, and your whole detoxification process. So there’s obvious ways to activate your gut health, right? Prebiotics, probiotics, prebiotics of the food that probiotics need to thrive.
So the bacteria in our microbiome love to munch on things like plant fibers, fruit fibers and extra coarse fiber called cellulose that comes from tough greens and non-digestible complex carbohydrates. My favorite is celery. It makes a huge difference for the belly.
Prebiotics promote a healthy, balanced relationship of bacteria, allowing beneficial bacteria to thrive. So probiotics, probiotics are the microorganisms that live within the microbiome. These microorganisms aren’t just bacteria.
They consist of a lot of different things, including primitive bacteria, protozoa and fungi. Even viruses make up part of the microbiome. So making sure that we have enough probiotics is important to our overall health.
But what we’re discovering is even more important is the composition of those organisms, the population of all of the different kinds. This is called biodiversity. That’s why it’s important to have a very diverse diet, because all the different foods play a huge role.
So here’s a great analogy if you want to figure out what you need. Probiotics are the items needed to make your garden grow, such as the soil, fertilizer and the sun. I’m sorry, prebiotics.
The probiotics are the seeds for the plants and trees in the vegetables. So you’ve got to have prebiotics to feed your seeds and plants to make everything grow and be healthy. So we have the PhysIQ prebiotic.
It’s actually pretty darn yummy too. Prebiotics are a type of dietary fiber that the human body cannot digest. They serve as food for probiotics, which are beneficial bacteria residing in the gut.
So it feeds probiotics that are essential to gut microbiome flora. They’re typically found in fiber rich foods, which we cannot digest or but needed to support probiotics and microbiome function. And it helps beneficial gut bacteria to thrive, which increases overall health.
And it supports the function of the GI tract, supports the immune system, your metabolism, very important, and helps create satiety, the feeling of being full. So it also helps maintain balanced blood sugar levels and promotes bowel regularity. That’s very, very important.
And it’s in a wonderful blood orange flavor. It’s really actually quite good. So our pro bio, how does that help? Right.
A healthy gut barrier is crucial in preventing inflammation as bad bacteria is associated with inflammatory molecules that cause inflammation in various body tissues. So it helps improve communication between the gut and the brain. It helps the gut bacteria make over 30 neurotransmitters, including your dopamine, serotonin and GABA.
Very, very important because that serotonin, the dopamine, all of that is being found in Parkinson’s and dementias and Alzheimer’s. So it also supports long term gut health, supports weight management goals, supports optimal digestion. It provides six billion colonies.
Right. CF use of healthy bacteria to support your digestive system. It restores your gut flora with healthy bacteria, helps restore gut integrity.
And it has well immune, which is a clinically proven ingredient to safely support your immune system. So don’t forget, 70 to 80 percent of our immune cells live inside our gut. So it’s very important.
And we also have this great system called BioTrack, which is controlled release technology. So it actually gets to where it needs to be when it needs to be there. So it gets deep down into the track.
OK, what else helps with this? Guys, there are studies after studies about Pertanum NRF2 synergizer, your NRF2 in gut microbiome health. So oxidative stress can alter the composition of the gut microbiome. And certain bacteria are more resistant to oxidative conditions, which can lead to an imbalance in the gut flora, favoring those that can survive in such environments.
This imbalance can contribute to dysbiosis. That just means your gut’s out of balance and inflammation affecting gut health, which in turn leads to various diseases. So NRF2, what does it do? It reduces oxidative stress by 40 percent in just 30 days and 70 percent in 120 days.
It also activates the production of glutathione by over 300 percent, increases superoxide dismutase by 30 percent, activates your catalase production by 54 percent. And this one’s super important, just like that glutathione. It increases your hemioxygenase by over 700 percent because that’s your anti-inflammatory gene.
So it also neutralizes over one million free radicals per second, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And it’s the only natural product proven to extend the life of mammals by seven percent. Why is that glutathione so important? It’s actually your master detoxification system.
So very, very important. And low levels of glutathione are linked to neuro and brain diseases, immune diseases and the big C word. It’s linked to cardiovascular disease, thyroid and pancreatic function diseases and all kinds of different arthritises.
Just all kinds of different stuff. So you’ve got to have glutathione. If you want to be healthy, you’ve got to have glutathione.
Hey, plus it actually helps you live another seven percent. So that’s pretty freaking amazing, right? Because we all need extra time. So another way to activate your gut health is actually with the NRF1 synergizer.
Most people don’t realize it, but the gut needs a lot of energy to do its job. So mitochondria, that’s the NRF1 pathway. Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell and play a critical role in maintaining the energy balance necessary for various cellular functions, including those in gut epithelial cells.
So you’ve got epithelial cells all around the body. And what do they love? They love NRF2 and they love NRF1. So proper mitochondrial function supports the integrity and turnover of the gut lining, aiding in the maintenance and repair of a healthy intestinal barrier.
So NRF1 drives the expression mitochondrial genes that support ATP production. That’s the production, your energy production in your body. You’ve got to have it.
Energy is required for maintaining tight junction proteins. Very important. So these tight junctions in the gut keep all the toxins away.
So right. NRF1 protects the gut lining by preserving mitochondrial function, which means less permeability, also known as reduced leaky gut. So NRF1 oversees protease gene expression, which is a vital, vital thing for clearing misfolded or damaged proteins that build up during stress or inflammation in the gut.
So when you put NRF1 and NRF2 together, they turn into a dynamic duo. And there’s another dynamic duo we’ll talk about in just a minute. But NRF2 kicks in during acute stress like inflammation or infection.
And then NRF1 maintains baseline function, especially under normal conditions in the gut. So they work together to keep gut cells energized, resilient and regenerative, which is key for overall gut and microbiome balance. So the NRF1 increases cellular energy, which is your ATP.
Your body has to have it or you don’t function. It improves performance through energy production, enhances cellular health, which means cells are functioning at peak performance, helps with sleep quality and cellular repair. And it boosts the mitochondria that you have in the body, plus how they network with each other.
And it slows cellular aging. So very important. Just think about it.
NRF1 is for your body battery. When it’s low, you get disease and you’re unhappy. But when it’s high, your gut is very happy and can do what it’s meant to do.
What’s another thing that happens to help? So you can actually activate your gut health with the NAD synergizer. So NAD, your nicotinamide adenine denucleotide, plays a central and multifaceted role in gut health and in shaping the gut microbiome, both directly and indirectly. It acts as a vital cellular coenzyme involved in energy metabolism, redox balance, DNA repair and cell survival, all of which are especially crucial for maintaining the gut lining and supporting a balanced microbial environment.
So it supports the energy production in gut cells. So intestinal epithelial cells are highly active and require vast amounts of ATP. And NAD fuels mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, which is essential for gut lining renewal, absorption of nutrients and mucus secretion.
So the NAD just helps amplify the NRF1, strengthens the gut barrier. So NAD dependent enzymes like SIRT1, like your sirtuins, are all about living long and healthy life. And they don’t work unless you have NAD, literally don’t work.
They are codependent on NAD. So SIRT1, there’s seven of them, protects tight junction proteins. And then it helps prevent leaky gut, reducing the translocation of toxins and bacteria into the bloodstream.
NAD also activates sirtuins, particularly SIRT1, SIRT3, which inhibit that bad dude NF-kappa B, which is your master inflammatory pathway, reducing oxidative stress. And then it also facilitates autophagy and gut cell renewal. So NAD boosts the autophagy, helping remove damaged cellular components in gut cells, which is vital for healing intestinal damage and preventing inflammation and dysbiosis.
So it just helps boost the energy needed through the NRF1 to create the whole autophagy system and gets rid of all the bad cells. SIRT2 inactivity declines as we age roughly about 60 percent. But the protein of NAD synergizer has been shown to increase SIRT2 inactivity in just one.
Well, by 100 percent in just 24 hours. So it’s also crucial for mental focus, concentration, positive mood, motivation, existing healthy cholesterol levels, healthy vascular system and joint health. So all three of those are wonderful, completely natural products.
They are made up of all these wonderful foods God created and put on Earth to help heal us. So all natural. And when you put them all together, you get a seventeen hundred percent increase in the efficacy of everything.
That’s why they call it a tri synergizer. They work together to make your genes work even better in your cells, communicate and work and keep you healthy. Also, this is crazy.
Omega actually helps as well. So fatty acids are the building blocks of our cell membranes and feel our muscles, including the heart, brain and other vital organs. Omega Plus delivers a powerful three in one blend of DHA for your brain and EPA for the heart.
Fatty acids plus omega seven fatty acids and vitamin D3 to support brain health, cardiovascular health, skin health and immune system. So they actually help improve the integrity of the intestinal lining, enhancing the gut barrier function. And this is crucial for preventing the entry of harmful substances into the bloodstream and maintaining an environment where beneficial gut bacteria can thrive.
So Omega Plus actually helps out, too. But here’s the super dynamic duo for your gut health. It’s amazing when you put these two together.
So, you know, your body, unless you had collagen, you can’t stand up. It’s your infrastructure for everything. It literally makes your skin look beautiful, right? Helps your hair grow, helps your nails grow.
But it does way more than that. So collagen is a primary structural protein found in the extracellular matrix of various connective tissue and plays several important roles in maintaining gut health and consequently supports a healthy gut microbiome. So it’s very important.
You know, we’re talking about those tight junctions. It plays a huge role between fibroblasts. And it’s critical for maintaining tissue homeostasis.
That’s just in happiness. Think of homeostasis and happiness. Your gut’s happy in regulating inflammation.
And during tissue repair, fibroblasts synthesize new collagen, which not only provides structural support, but also helps to suppress excessive inflammatory responses. So a healthy collagen networks maintained by fibroblast activity ensure that tissue can recover from injury and inflammation efficiently. So collagen, which is a primary structural protein found in the extracellular matrix of various connective tissues, plays several important roles in maintaining gut health and consequently supports a healthy gut microbiome.
Its benefits extend to the integrity of the gut lining, tissue repair and modulation of inflammation, all of which can directly and indirectly influence the composition and function of the gut microbiome. It is so very important. Also, when you put this dynamic duo together, it decreases inflammation exponentially up to 97 and 94 percent in two of the most important interleukin markers, the inflammation markers.
So they form a powerful synergy, especially for gut health and microbiome balance by lowering inflammation, supporting gut lining repair and enhancing antioxidant defenses. And since over 70 percent of the immune system lives in the gut, this combination not only supports gut health, but benefits immune health and so much more. So true science liquid collagen lowers inflammatory markers, the collagen peptides help suppress the tumor necrosis factor alpha interleukin 6, interleukin 1 beta and CRP, all of which contribute to gut inflammation and microbiome imbalance.
So it’s especially helpful in gut conditions such as leaky gut, IBS, IBD and low grade systemic inflammation. It actually helps repair and seal the gut barrier. So it’s rich in glycine, proline, hoxy, hydroxyproline, all of which are key in building and repairing tight junction proteins.
It promotes mucosal integrity, helping prevent translocation of bacteria or toxins, supports beneficial microbes. Less inflammation means better gut lining, which equals friendlier environment for beneficial bacteria like bifidobacterium and Archimantia. Acromantia, sorry, that’s a huge keyword right now and weight loss, too, by the way.
So NRF2 Synergizer activates over 500 genes involved in antioxidant defense and detoxification while reducing oxidative stress that damages the gut lining and triggers immune responses. It inhibits the NF-kappa B, the master switch for inflammatory cytokines, and balances immune reactivity, promoting tolerance toward helpful microbes and supports energy production and redox balance and promotes autophagy. So when you put these two together, it literally lowers autoimmune markers.
It lowers all kinds of different stuff and inflammation in the body by 97 percent, 94 percent. It’s huge and it’s amazing for gut health. One of the biggest things that we get when people start doing the healthy glow stack, which is the NRF2 and the collagen, people are like, wow, my acid reflux isn’t as bad, or wow, my IBD, colitis, all that stuff has had huge differences.
So why is our collagen so great? It’s a liquid and it has 10 different types of collagens plus amino acids to support the collagen density and elasticity. So it makes a huge difference. That’s why it does so well with powder.
You only absorb up to 30 percent of it because it’s just not it’s just not bio available. The liquid makes it so much easier for the body to use up to 90 percent plus absorption rate. So it’s huge and it’s hydrolyzed collagen makes a big, big difference.
Two last things that make a huge difference for the gut and your gut health. So increased levels of booty rate. I love that word.
And it is becoming huge in our wellness discussions left and right, because they’re finally finding out just how important it is and the gut and being happy. So beta rate stimulates GOP one secretion, which enhances natural gut regulation. And together they lower gut inflammation, strengthen the gut barrier wall while supporting metabolic metabolic and microbiome balance.
So beta rate is the gut super fuel. Very important. It’s a short chain fatty acid produced when gut bacteria ferment fiber.
So it supports the gut lining fuels colonosites, which are cells of the colon is an anti inflammatory. It reduces gut inflammation and promotes immune balance, improves gut barrier integrity, which helps prevent leaky gut. And then the GOP one is the gut hormone hero.
So it’s secreted by intestinal cells in the response to food. It slows gastric emptying, which gives the digestive system more time to process, enhances insulin secretion, stabilizes blood sugar, which is a great indirect gut benefit, and supports the gut brain access, promoting satiety and reducing cravings. So if you were to add the dynamic duo of NRF2 and collagen with the MB system, mind body core system that enhances your beauty rate production in your GOP one, you would have the happiest, healthiest gut ever.
