yep and there’s and every day there’s more and more to love i’m getting i got to start losing weight but i bet lucas know i’m going to do it because if i lose it it woo it’s too much money so but uh yeah it’s saturday morning and it’s a beautiful day and uh it’s cold out this morning but anyway that’s all right i’ll just spend more time in the house i guess like how cold 32 when i got up this morning okay it’s probably it’s probably about 38 now or something it look probably 40 50 are the squirrels frolicking or is it too cold

for even them um oh they’ll oh they’ll be out there they’re out there when it’s real cold even just long as there not a ton of snow on the ground they’re out running around but uh i’ve seen there’s uh two new ones this year this spring so far they’re about they look like they’re about quarter size you know of a regular one so yeah when when when do squirrels uh pop out the babies do they do that like in the spring early yeah i i should know this but i don’t i’m guessing it’s probably the size of these guys in the

spring it’s probably um god it’s got to be in the winter i think you know like january maybe i’m not sure that’s why they stock up all the uh nuts and uh have them over the winter had plenty of food there and then they start taking them out and teaching them to forge in the spring i don’t know that’s to look that one up yeah for sure yeah i don’t know they’re they seem like a pretty smart animal i mean i i don’t know they’re they’re fun to watch i like watching them oh they are fun to watch but you know what else is fun to watch

what’s that tv you and lucas when you uh big squirrel weekend look at this big squirrel there you go lucas said that you’d oversleep or something or something or something no i think we should like see if we can like all dress up in like uh squirrel costumes like like big full-size squirrel costumes and do a podcast yeah i was thinking about joining one of those furry groups and then i’m going to be a squirrel for sure i’m just kidding mark i don’t know you know we should totally dress up and go to one

of those conventions right furby or whatever they call those things maybe a comiccon dress up like them you know if i was a squirrel furry deal i’ i’d wear a like a switzerland hat there you know like what they squidward the alps hat you know they wear those weird that would go perfect with the squirrel outfit so turn my phone off here yeah so wait we could have like the leader hos and hoozins whatever kind of outfits but like underneath them it’s still a squirrel outfit so we’d be like a a swiss squirrel

yeah yeah and uh yeah i was thinking uh when i was younger i was going to play the accordion i got u one of my dad’s buddies gave him one and but oh my god by the time i tried to play it it was all like cracking and stuff so i gave up on the first uh minute into it so anyways you know what i mean the uh deal puffing in and out it was cracking so but anyways i don’t i got on that subject oh no but i i’ve been educated nana kk uh squared me away he said uh february through april they can have a litter and then they’ll do it again

august september so kind of like twice a year little baby squirrels so they they does seem like spring and fall yeah yeah that’s nice yeah but uh how you doing lucas you all right there uh he was here and then he was gone so he’s having a little bit of tech issue i was wondering why he wasn’t talking usually as soon as i say something yeah usually he jumps right in on that he’ll jump right in there and start you know hammering on me but uh that’s all right cook’s got an important question for you it said “uh matt where’s the

tie-dye mumu my aunt stella wants one.” you know uh boy oh boy i just uh we’ll get working on that you know after uh we will cl i’ll call you about that she puts some pressure on me but doesn’t work because i can only do so many things but i i really it’s in the front of my list right now making a what is it um yeah the mumu tie-dye deal yeah for sure no it is not in the front of the the list i know it’s not lucas i had thought i’d say that but now that you’re back i better not say that again i’m in

always on his toes because he never knows the weather down there is so crazy like some days it’s 83 some days it’s 81 and other days it’s 82 i mean it varies so much down there it’s just it’s just such a and then at night well it’s going to be like could be anywhere from like 72 to 74 i know i mean you never know what you’re going to get it’s crazy you don’t even know what to wear oh my gosh that’s probably the worst that you have a thousand outfits just to you know figure out because of the weather gosh

such a variable situation i know i probably shouldn’t call it a walk but but i call it a walk um it’s more like a a roll or a stroll i roll but yeah you roll around the neighborhood go go go go go look off off the hill at the uh coast it’s just beautiful i take my coffee with me and go mobile that would be nice yeah just throw the coffee in now do you just take a cup with you or do you use like a thermos a thermos okay same thermos that i drink from all the time lucas is a big coffee drinker and and

i’m just going to ask you a simple question lucas and i’m curious about this what’s the biggest mug you got for uh coffee is it one of them old like 7-eleven things like the 128 ounce deal or whatever no no it’s uh like for an actual mug i have one that’s uh i think it’s like 26 ounces no you can just admit you just you just like welded a handle on a beer keg use it for a coffee mug well it it’s it’s a larger uh you know wider mouth one so it doubles as a cereal bowl have you ever seen that i’m serious

about this these gas stations have this 64 ounce deal have you guys seen that yeah like i’ve seen people putting coffee in them filling them up they’d have to peel me off the moon after 64 ounces of coffee yeah i i couldn’t do that many and i and i really like coffee i could have been younger but the older i get the more sensitive i’ve become uh to it so i i know this sounds horrible matt but uh you know think what you want but the second half of the day i do drink a lot of coffee but the second half is more

decaf just so i can drink something warm and and the reason why i got into uh drinking well more coffee and just kind of sipping on black coffee all the time was because it helped my hunger so when i was really kind of going through my phases of uh you know breaking my plateaus um to lose more weight and more weight and more weight it’s hard to get over that plateau and during the plateau you really have to like you know cut your calorie um intake by literally half you know to kind of break through that

plateau and that was really really difficult but if i found if i just drank you know like little sips of black coffee um you know when i had my hunger pains uh it it really helped me get through that so anyway not not that you wanted to know that information but that that’s what helped me get through yeah and that next question about the pain and inflammation um it looks like we might have it on tuesday or wednesday okay so sorry that’s just the way it is all right which is fine i mean i mean matt they

might be able to is it out of stock online or on you guys might you guys might be able to put it back in stock and then they at least they can order it and then just so they know that that won’t probably ship out till tuesday or wednesday yeah that’s what i’ll do i’ll put it in later in the day and then they can people can order it for sure and then uh yeah that’s what we’ll do then we had somebody ask when’s just the straight up lavender gonna come back the soap yeah just the lavender you got the eucalyptus and lavender there i

motivation.” i’m like “all right so we do a monetary.” and i’m like “hey you have to lose x amount of pounds by this date or you know you owe me you know say you know whatever currency or whatever it is right?” and sometimes it’s money sometimes sometimes he has to you know send me his favorite shirt um uh you know just so that if he loses i can hear him cry a little bit and so and uh yeah just uh he he has uh what what’s the date matt june we won’t go into the details but june 10th so this next this next goal is by june 10th so

put it on your calendars and ask us on the show because we’re going to i’ll tell you if he has made his goal or not oh man this is going to get interesting well he he missed he missed his last goal so uh june 10th is the new goal so we shall see what happens yeah i’m making myself a note so i can uh put an alarm in my phone for that day and you know now now you got me like now you have us invested into your uh exactly tuesday june 10th well and so i i have an alarm starting a week before and then every day leading up till june

10th i have an alarm set in my phone so that i can harass him for at least seven days before the uh the 10th um no i like this i like where it’s going i i’ll have to get the details rambling girl wants to know if there’s anything comparable to those delta 8 gel caps the delta 8 gummies uh the gel caps matt were they five or 10 milligram they were five excuse me they were five and 25 we had fives and we had 25 fives yeah so if it’s a 25 milligram gel cap it is the same as the 25 milligram gummy exactly so it could be the same as the

you know we want you to tell you ah we want you to tell us what a day with matt is like.” i think she would just laugh and walk away from the phone because i think it would be um so uh bizarre for her to say it she’s like “no i i just can’t i can’t do it can’t do it.” bizarre what do you mean bizarre you know here’s the deal i’ve known her for 50 years you know and it’s uh yeah it’s great so and she never knows whether you’re coming home with an rv a squirrel suit whatever just you know just random

that or we’re going to get you one of those like remote dog collars where you can yeah i need a little bit of something stronger than water um yeah it it was so funny it was so funny we were in lichfield this is re okay so i’m 51 and a half that half is very important and so i’m very little and then matt’s 63 so we were in just that just remind me of the story uh we were in lichfield and talking to the neighbors and i had taken a nap i didn’t have any makeup on and ashley walks up to me and she goes “bessie what’s on your face?”

and i go “what?” and she’s like wiping some and i go “what?” she goes “it looks like you have a black eye.” and i just looked at her and i said “a black i have a oh.” i said “you know i know it’s probably just mascara.” okay that’s a girl thing right it’s black all over the side of my face and i said i go “actually you have nothing to worry about i don’t have black eye at all.” she go “oh god.” i took off the mascara yeah it’s nothing cuz you know was whatever i said “matt has never hit me.” but i said “if he ever did i would be

dead but i said “you don’t have to ever worry about that because if he didn’t kill me he’d be worse i he might get hit me once but then i’d come after him with a frying pan cuz i i’m 51 but i’m spoiled feisty and uh he yeah he’d be he’d come out looking much worse than me don’t worry beth he has told me on several occasions how terrified he is of you yes he i mean this is i mean yeah yeah it well it’s you know i have a breaking point i’m pretty nice most people find me very most people call me adorable my old boss is coming here

comes sunshine and i just look at matt and i said i just feel like i just annoy you and he goes he i go well it goes both ways but uh yeah i speak my mind because we’ve been together for so long that i had no problem back in the day we do the bar thing i would say anything to anybody because i had this six foot three guy bodybuilder standing by and i we’re talking wait did you tell matt about him oh uh matt yeah whatever he kind he kind of knew it was just you know he didn’t have to say it but even

we’re down to and lucas i just thought of this the other day because our our realtor i brought this up to him in high school our senior year uh matt’s coach football coach was our history teacher because you could pick your teachers so at that point you’re seniors you’re going to get a’s no matter what because he’s the star of the football team and i was like a cheerleader so anyway so we’re in uh mr miller’s class and i sat be in front of matt because i couldn’t see over his head so you by alphabetical

order my it was kirk and johnson so his we’re taking a quiz and his jerry miller his give me all the answers he likes stop stop let me finish my anyway so uh he leans over to me and he goes betsy i go yes and he goes “will you do me a favor and not date matt during football season?” i looked at him this is when nowadays you get in trouble for that i looked at him and i said “well why don’t you take that up with him why are you telling me?” and he walked away so basically he didn’t want me to just you know distract matt from

football season matt of course he never said a word to matt but he thought he’d go through me didn’t work so yeah that that was that you know you know what here’s the other it’s a long story and you know what this one thing you just found out about my wife here is that she she tells a lot of stories and sometimes my god i put in the earplugs but anyway no i’m just kidding i no she’s cool but that teacher too was her cousin or something or relatives yeah yeah well he was you always wanted to get your

teachers that were relatives so you could murder yeah by our senior year he was i didn’t do any work are you kidding no yeah by our senior year we both were put on pedestals because our high school was really big into athletes uh you whatever that’s enough enough all the customers left the show and i’m going lord no she’s cool it’s just that i loved it it was awesome no that’s hilarious hey she’s a lot of fun i know you are betsy we love you betsy oh god no it’s she’s you know we get along great we always have we always

she is that was just awesome made my day all right let’s get into uh some news i gave a brief one at the very beginning i do have uh i do have some wealthmanagement folks redemption that are working part-time this weekend guys but they are not expecting uh they’re not expecting to start appointments so uh they just continue to keep everything in a state of preparedness government completes budget schedule amid deficit affecting jobs and services they want us to know that they have uh completed handed off to the next

uh stage uh they expect to hand it off right after um aladir uh meaning the end of ramadan which was last night so we could hear something as early as tomorrow or monday on that front uh which would uh be a positive step forward lot lot of conjecture that we may have a rate buried in those budget tables but then we get a little bit of the back and forth out of the kirk cook media corporation reuters reporting that negotiations resume oil exports from the kurdish region have stalled we know that

the pipeline is now physically prepared and checked out they’re still trying to pound out a few of the last uh negotiation deals with some of the companies and dollars who’s paying for what don’t let it shake you let’s see oh there it goes it gives us a update here’s our big one though in preparation of it and uh i’m trying to track down some of these uh business folks that are going to be going to see if i can get an inside there iraqi ambassador in washington delegation representing more than 50 american companies will visit

iraq they’re headed for some very high-profile uh uh meetings to look at business opportunities in iraq this when you see these we’ve seen japan we’ve seen the uk we’ve seen germany france we’ve seen them all sending delegations to look at doing international business with uh iraq guys international for them to do this level of international business they need an international currency that’s one without any restrictions uh so i’m uh especially excited about those also in the news before i forget uh mississippi governor

signs law phasing out individual income tax uh they want it down by to 3% by 2030 and then each year it goes down a little more until it is just gone sounds like nera to me as states are preparing and we may see a more measured approach on the way to nera it has measuring if this could be part of it or is this just common sense finally kicking in um let’s see what else do we have uh i mentioned at the beginning of the show i’ve got quite a few bond contacts now that are telling me they will complete

all of their uh excuse me transactions this coming week at least they are exceptionally hopeful uh that the uh the movie is coming to an end the roller coaster is pulling into the uh station the ride will be over i think that’s about all the fun stuff i’m certain there’s going to be others that i remember as you guys keep going i’m just reading a few of your comments before i keep going uh poly collie i read an article with a picture showing the trucks with a massive amount of money to pay the contractor most of that money was to pay

uh government uh employees etc uh they haven’t fully embraced banking so this kind of works there um digital and this is one of the pushes in iraq right now to meet those uh contracts pay everybody uh i think what is it 40% now do it electronically if i remember they’re working they want to get it to where 100% go electronically and then they go to their bank and they do have a bank that’s uh upped its um reserves to like half a billion dollar wait $500 billion i mean we’re we’re we’re seeing a massive growth in the

iraqi banking sector um but they want to do it where they just electronically can you imagine logistics having to pull up with transfer truck full of cash and the security so that you can distribute that much cash and then the opportunities for fraud in there or just mistakes doesn’t have to be fraud so that’s one of that’s one of the problems they’ve been working through uh anyone see the candace owen blackmail no i’ve not heard about any of this joe i have to see that one i’m just reading a few more of these

before i uh keep going actually i should probably just keep going right yeah we got to find i got to find the name of that one the uh miller one all right it’s getting even more interesting the backlash is starting to mount james bossberg this is the activist judge that has suddenly come out and uh has a well how do i put that one has a thing for going after trump i think he is the new newest sacrificial lamb what do they have on him because he is ruining his career uh here you go he’s really doubling down on it james bossberg’s

daughter works for a nonprofit whose founder said the judge rightly blocked deportations of alleged venezuelan gang bankers bankers and opposes the lake riley how can you oppose the lake and riley act has he read it clearly he has not read it if he opposes it unless he is just one evil person i’m trying to get better klo i can’t afford to keep stocking the jar till we get an rv the daughter of dc district court chief judge james bosberg is employed by a nonprofit that received millions in government funding opposes

the lake and riley act and whose founder argued that the jurist rightly blocked president trump swiftly deporting alleged venezuelan gang members all right most of them are very much confirmed venezuelan gangbangers and they’re not allegedly but all right let’s play your game and say allegedly if it makes you allegedly feel better uh when you put people at risk but it is getting more and more interesting for uh mr bowenberg as they find more and more uh connections that should have had him removing himself

from the case uh the good news is it’ll tell you almost all this in a pill will get tossed out because of the conflict of interest he should immediately remove himself uh oh trump to impose pharma levies soon says open to deals on tariffs this is one i wish he would have you know day one uh president donald trump on friday reiterated plans to soon impose tariffs on imported pharmaceutical goods and express openness to negotiating auto and reciprocal tariffs in exchange for favorable deals with other countries the

us has to go back to manufacturing all its pharmaceuticals so we have control over that uh we are shipping out just about everything at this point that is not safe for national security uh but he is he’s using tariffs to negotiate everybody’s like “oh my god wigging out.” but i love this one right here it’s possible if we can get something for the deal in other words they may lay off some change some of these tariff things um but you know we’ve been taken advantage of for 40 years maybe more and

it’s just not going to happen anymore but yeah i’m certainly open to that in other words i’ll negotiate but we will no longer be taken advantage of you’re not going to charge us a 50% tariff and we don’t charge you any it is going to be reciprocal in equal dollar amount so that you understand that if you want trade and free trade with us great give us free trade we’ll do the same we’ll return the favor uh presidents in the past me don’t even negotiate it they just uh bent over some point you have to stand up for

yourself or you will continue to be taken advantage of i have contempt for such people this is straight from musk’s mouth musk rages at virtue signaling ukraine hawks after a spat with what he called traitor mark kelly republican senator mark kelly from arizona oh no a democrat from arizona um for pushing to send more us aid and weapons to the ukraine following a trip to the country um brett bayer asking “if you guys haven’t watched this interview on fox it was absolutely just fantastic if we could make that required

viewing for everybody i think doge’s popularity which is already wildly popular it’s like 70 i think it’s 77% of the country is behind doge and likes what they’re doing guys that those kind of numbers are ungodly in uh modern politics i mean that is that’s not saying that uh only 23% um um you know what’s the word i’m looking for here are against or disapprove no what we’re saying is 77% approve of in other words yeah keep going doesn’t mean 23% disapprove just means uh maybe 10% disapproves and

although have been getting kickbacks is going to be my take on that one but all right let’s get back over here this interview was fantastic democratic arizona senator mark kelly posted on x about his trip to the ukraine and pushed for continuing to send us weapons and support there and you posted he was a traitor why do that musk well i think somebody should care about the interests of the united states above the interests of another country and if they don’t they’re a traitor uh bayer then noted kelly is a decorated

veteran a former astronaut and a sitting us senator to which musk replied “it doesn’t mean it’s okay for him to put the interests of another country above america.” musk drove the point home saying we should have empathy for the thousands of people dying every day in the trenches for no movement in the lines for the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing i take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it those who virtue signal say we can’t give in to russia

but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day i have contempt for such people and i want to make that clear because their virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don’t have a father it means parents lost a son for what nothing i loved this one of course uh that spat back and forth but musk just pointing out you know sending more more arms without trying to find peace is not the answer stop virtue signaling stop telling us we’re crappy people because we won’t send more bombs not when we’re

keep cutting that was a huge win for doge and for uh the trump administration and most of these where the activist judges jump in they put restraining orders temporary it’s just temporary because the rule of law is pretty clear so this one big win and sets a precedence which is great and trump’s done much of what he’s done to force it through the court system he knew these things were going to happen they all knew all right and here we go again and i have been touching on this for a while we will not allow it zalinsky rejects a

new mineral draft that would recognize us support as loans as zalinsky said as far as i see it you didn’t loan us any money that’s ours you gave it to us i know we can do whatever we want no we don’t have to pay it back now if you want to set up a deal where if you give us any more money it’s considered a loan he’s in but zero appreciation for the sacrifices that uh men and women service members taxpayers have been making in the united states to send hundreds of billions of dollars that direction um i

don’t know about you but i feel taken advantage of very much uh he said “we’re grateful for the support but this is not a credit we will not allow it.” ukrainian press and also said that they are unwilling to negotiate with russian president putin or with someone who would represent russia in other words they’re not going to negotiate how does he think this is going to get settled if he won’t ne negotiate instead said i think that if there are people i think there are businesses in russia they have many

different regions including syria business i think that we should communicate with them if they have a vision for how to end the war in other words he don’t he wants to deal with somebody else in russia of course putin wants to deal with somebody else in the ukraine because zillinsky just simply won’t deal won’t sit down and have a conversation extremely how do i put this one um because i don’t think a lack of experience is necessarily a bad thing when some of the experience can just be negative but he is showing zero ability

to negotiate or think like a grownup it’s like watching a three-year-old toddler and every time like he comes he sits he has a conversation with uh trump or the administration in person he’s like “okay let’s do these things.” and he goes back to his own people totally different no we’re going to do this we’re going to do that where does he think this is going to go anybody i’m curious i’m with you he’s just i if we would have had somebody common sense in any of these positions from the us uh the uk or ukraine these things

would have been settled a long time ago i’d be glad to give everybody my thoughts how they should do it but nobody seems to nobody seems to care or ask let’s see actually obama created doge trump just changed the name of it yes obama talked about how important it was oh boy one of the things doge uh matter of fact it was i if i remember it correctly in the uh in in the doge interview let me see if i can find that one in that interview i believe it was one of the co-founders of airbnb was talking about uh how

difficult it is for government contracts uh the obama administration the democrats had written so many rules for this broadband the 40 i think it was $42 billion zero people have been connected $42 billion to get broadband to underserved areas it’s a 12step progress process he was explaining and he was explaining all of the steps and they’re just now at the stage where they get $5 million to do studies to show which are underved are it’s it’s crazy when he goes through that process uh in a nutshell they come

up with a new pro program they’re going to fix something right 5 to 10 years the program might actually get through the planning stages and they might get to start implementing it somewhere before the 10year mark the problem has probably already been figured out by the market before then but that is just another great example of the uh crazed inefficiency of our government uh the john stewart pie oh see another one on that front you can if you guys haven’t seen this one uh john stewart gets an awakening on doge and efficiency

and he is blown away uh by how difficult it is to get a government contract going and this is this wasn’t even specific to the broadband this was a another liberal what ezra i’m trying to or was it elias a jewish uh prominent liberal jewish podcaster um he had on the john stewart podcast and he was like “yeah oh geez.” and he was giving him the background he was breaking down how difficult it is and steuart was just like “my god are democrats idiots?” so uh they had a great conversation about it and he was

just blown away he had no idea that they had added that much inefficiency to making decisions it was a great one yes to me activist betrays the person’s mental illness let’s see shandandy d 57th anniversary of receiving my rn one month short of my 20th b wow that is unreal to have gotten it that quickly uh shane congratulations that’s something we’re celebrating let’s see my bank usa says they no longer exchange foreign currency wells fargo and bank of america websites also they don’t exchange it is expected

that have foreign currency um offices meaning they can exchange it without sending it off so my guess is if 99% of the time if you want to exchange with a credit union you’re probably going to have to be okay with them not counting it in front of you you putting them putting it in an envelope sealing it and mailing it off to another branch or to an actual bank bank uh well i shouldn’t say actual bank because credit unions are banks too but to probably one of the majors so there’s a really good chance

that your credit union will bundle it up and send it off to maybe a wells fargo or a chase or an hsbc to have it exchanged and then the money back into the account so you guys handle that one any way you want i want somebody that will count it verify it do it right there in front of my eyes jackie background checks yes don’t panic when i say background checks it’s just it’s the same thing you go when you go open a bank account they make certain that uh you’re not just a complete fraudster and you’re you’re okay it’s
