“BRICS is Dead!” Announces Trump as the US Seeks to Split Alliance of Russia, China and Iran

welcome back everyone welcome to world affairs in context several days ago Donald Trump declared quote bricks is dead those are his words he said that after he had threatened the block with 100% tariffs its members now don’t even want to mention that they’re part of the economic Alliance and presumably according to Trump they will forfeit their goals to establish an alternative Financial system that is to challenge the United States dollar dominance and provide Alternative forms of settlement

here’s the clip take a look I don’t care but bricks is was put there for a bad purpose and uh most of those people don’t want they don’t even want to talk about it now they’re afraid to talk about it because I told them if if they want to play games with the dollar then they’re going to be hit with a 100% tariff the day they mentioned that they want to do it and they will come back and say we beg you we beg you not to do do this bricks is dead since I mentioned that bricks died the minute I mentioned

that and I know I remember when Obama and uh Biden in particular I guess he said that uh oh they have us over a barrel they don’t have us over a barrel we have them over a barrel so president Trump says quote bricks died the very minute that he mentioned that if they want to play games with the dollar they will get 100% tff now that of course sounds quite dramatic because it was because of the economic and financial sanctions the weaponization of the US dollar if you will that the brics blog began looking

for Alternative forms of settlement those were the true reasons adding more fuel to the fire will only accelerate the developing States determination their drive to guard their economic sovereignty by developing Alternative forms of settlement that won’t be used against them as long as the United States continues to weaponize the US dollar through tariffs through economic sanctions members of the block will continue to seek Alternatives that is how it works now is Trump correct in saying that the bricks block is dead I

would argue that the statement has absolutely nothing to do with reality itself the bricks Alliance which became the symbol of the global South in recent years has been actively expanding bricks is now made up of 10 countries Brazil Russia India China South Africa Egypt Ethiopia Indonesia Iran and the UAE it now accounts for nearly 42% of global GDP and 55% of the world’s population bricks is not only not dead but it is in the best shape the very best shape that it’s ever been the United States Secretary of

North Korea it really doesn’t like those alliances it’s a threat the alliance is a nightmare for the United States and it’s effectively now going back to the old strategy of not allowing Russia and China to develop closer ties take a look what concessions will Putin have to make well we we you know that to me there’s going to have to be things like territorial concessions as well okay it’s somewh is in in realistic for to expect where you’d want to go to but it’s territorial it’s some territorial

with North Korea that wasn’t there before he’s got an alliance with Iran that wasn’t there before he’s got an alliance with China that wasn’t there before me four years ago before this sounds a lot like the well-known divide and conquer strategy doesn’t it it is a long-term game and uh of course stating that the bricks block is dead with Russia and China being its founding members that may be an attempt to sort of diminish to downplay the blocks geopolitical significance the attempt to frag man the
