Hey, good evening everybody, Militiaman and Crew here, and it is going to be a Monday. Everybody’s probably had a wonderful day, probably enjoyed some rain and some sunshine, because I got a lot of both, where we are here in the Northwest.

So, but hey, have a great day. The cool thing is, though, is that in the news today, end of late, we’ve seen some things that are collective that just keep our study solid as rock. That’s what we do at Militiaman and Crew, Militiaman at Patreon.com. Come see us, check out our Discord chat room.

Don’t forget, Samson just blows us out of the water with all the news in the morning throughout the day, and you guys can come in and read on your own, or you can get me when I come in and analyze stuff of what’s been going on in our Discord. That’s in our Discord and in our Patreon room. So look, there’s a lot of information, and it’s rock solid.

It’s the news, that’s what we do. This article comes back to March 12th, right? So yeah, is it important? Yeah, there’s a key component of this article. It’s called, Kurdistan Regional Government Affirms to Commit to Exporting and Selling the Region’s Oil through SOMA.

They haven’t done that yet, have they? No, they haven’t. But they do say, in the first part of this meeting that they had on that day, it says Saleh, who is an advisor to the Prime Minister, and also along with acting Minister of the Natural Resources. You know that Iraq’s full of natural resources.

They reviewed the latest developments in the joint meetings between the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Federal Ministry of Oil. Not the regional, but the federal. But who were they in front of? They were in the presence of representatives of oil companies.

It comes back to, it says at the end of the day at the meeting, it says the council also affirms that the regional government, which is Kurdistan Region, the regional government’s firm position to implement the amendment to the budget law, so that the region’s oil is exported and sold through SOMA, and its revenues are returned to the Federal Ministry of Finance. Realize that that’s the budget law amendment. That’s the one we’ve been watching for.

They haven’t exposed that yet. And we haven’t seen the oil go yet. And we haven’t seen retroactive payment for salaries for the citizens yet either.

So there’s a lot of things that are going on in that show that when you get down to it, what else is going to happen? You’re going to see things that are going to be talking about investment and projects. I won’t get into it. But it says here, it says, this article says answered by selling 300 million daily al-Sudani.

300 million what? 300 million dollars through the auctions in the past? Okay, something to that effect. Al-Sudani says, restrictions are useful. And I asked the Americans about their silence on the dollar chaos before me.

So he’s going back in time and he’s giving a deflection and stating that those that were before him, everyone before him, as prime minister, they just probably just didn’t do their job. For probably many reasons. But anyway, I think you’re going to find that al-Sudani is probably patched up some of those reasons.

And that goes to the highest levels in the country. And it could even consider, you should consider the tribal aspect of it. So that’s just because of how the country is.

Okay, it says that the United States Treasury described the progress that Iraq has been doing, and by reforming their banking system is so big that it’s a revolution we dreamed of. That’s the quote. He also promised to launch a reform plan to correct the banking sector, which is the most important in Iraq’s history.

Yes, I went over this before, but it’s powerful information and there’s going to be more. It says they’re talking about the United States Treasury, the US Federal Reserve. It says regarding a roadmap for Iraq to enter the global financial compliance circle.

However, the previous government did not implement any of them and the deadline expired at the beginning of my government. So that was before he got into office. He says now my government has been able to transform the challenge and commitment to the US Treasury and the Federal Reserve into an opportunity to reform the Iraqi financial banking system.

It says we leverage the issue to end the anomalous situation of dollar selling shops. That’s the parallel market, which we all complained about back then. And we were able to implement the imposed obligations that they got from the US Treasury and the US Federal Reserve.

That’s how I see it. It says the sanctions imposed by international institutions were related to that period, but there are no violations in this regard now. So let’s just see the date on this was March 28th.

So obviously, this is relatively fresh, isn’t it? Sure. So he goes on and says the sanctions imposed by international institutions, basically, there’s no violations now. So that’s we already went over that.

But he says we’ve been able to implement these standards and now the banking systems operate transparently. Sounds like new technology. In accordance with international compliance standards and certified by international institutions.

And we all know that some of these international institutions are like Oliver Wyman, K2, Ernst & Young, and so forth. Okay. So it says the US Treasury representative informed us that Iraq has achieved a revolution we had dreamed of in previous periods.

International compliance centers have been applied to all Iraqi financial transfers via correspondent banks and the US audit firm. So now not a single dollar is spent without passing through these bodies. So they’ve got a really tight rein on all this.

He goes on and says 30% of the annual value of all imports goes to construction materials for the reconstruction effort, right? And this reflects the scale of construction and development. And here they go on and say that we have contracted with Oliver Wyman, who I just mentioned, and we all want, we all will launch a reform plan after IED. So he goes on and says we’ve contracted with Oliver Wyman to reform the private banking system.

And he says we will launch the reform plan after IED. IED is today. It’s over.

It’s the 31st here in the United States, but in Iraq, it’s not anymore. Okay. At this time anyway.

It says it will be the most important plan since the founding of the Iraqi state. The government banking sector will be reformed under the supervision of Ernst & Young. So those are the names that we knew about.

We talked about it, but yet today is the day that they talk about that they’re going to do something after today. So let’s just go by with what they say. That’s what they’re telling us.

That’s that’s not me making this up. Okay. Okay.

The next article is called Sudanese from Maisan. It says this year’s IED will be full of hard work. This is al-Sudani again.

He goes on and talks about projects that have been installed since 2014. It says the government embarked on its part of approach to completing work on all stalled and suspended projects. It will be implemented through the national effort, national cadres, in a record period of about six to eight months.

And then he goes on and says these projects will provide thousands of jobs, thousands of job opportunities, directly or indirectly, concluding that in the growth in these projects and programs is a real reform of the Iraqi economy, which suffers from a single-minded dependence on oil exports. Look, the single-mindedness is what they’re talking about, is that they’re not only going to have just oil as their income, they’re going to have the non-oil revenue sources. So he’s hammering it home.

You guys, this was yesterday. So why would he be talking about things like that? Something’s changing, something’s coming fast, and he’s knocking it out of the park. So here it says, congratulating on IED, al-Sudani reiterates his commitment to implementing the government program in all of its dimensions.

There you go. He’s saying he’s got a commitment. So yesterday on March 30th, al-Sudani pledged, we’re going to make every effort for reconstruction and development in accordance with supreme interest of our people and the aspirations of its citizens.

That’s a pretty powerful statement. He’s on record of telling everybody that the reform process is fully underway. They have a huge, well, supreme interest for who? Their people.

Okay. And that’s what they’re going to do, the reconstruction effort. So when you see things like that and you bring them in, just because it was two or three weeks ago and up to today, doesn’t mean it’s not important.

You just got to paint that picture. And that’s what I think we do here at Militia Man and Crew, is we take in a lot of information and bring it to you. And by the way, all that information that I bring to you guys, and I have here in print, is in our forum.

So this isn’t just, you know, fluff that we’re making up as we go along. We have the evidence. Okay? So enjoy it.

I think you’ll appreciate it. You might even want to cut and paste it and keep it for your records for the future, because it’s going to be really powerful. You can share it with your grandkids and your kitty cats, for that matter.

Okay? Because Wally’s running around here somewhere. Anyway, so the next thing is, General Manager of Raffodine Bank. That’s a state-owned bank, everybody.

It’s state-owned. Okay? One of the things that they do to change a society that’s based off of oil, for instance, is that they’re going to go to a private sector. And that’s a big challenge for countries.

If you Google it and you look it up, you’ll find there’s a lot of documents. There’s a lot of white papers out there. I found another one today that was 15 pages long.

I read it. Is it boring? Well, yeah. But is it important? Of course it is, because it tells you a story.

It tells you how far along Iraq has really come and how complex this thing is. It is not just a push of a button. It’s not what we thought.

It’s not what people forecasted or what they imposed on their beliefs onto us, thinking, oh, it’s all about Iraq. It hasn’t been. This evolution has been an amazing process.

And I hope you guys appreciate it, because you’re part of it. And I’m glad that everybody’s with us tonight. But anyway, he goes on and says he’s confirmed that the bank has witnessed a qualitative transformation in recent years, becoming one of the pillars of the modern Iraqi banking sector, through the adoption of financial technology, the promotion of banking inclusiveness, and adherence to international standards of integrity and compliance.

And realize, we’re talking about the Rafidane Bank. It says that this gentleman brings up that the success was not just administrative decisions, but an integrated vision based on investing in human capital, building strategic partnerships, and upgrading banking services according to the latest international standards. They go on and say that investing in the development of the bank’s employees is one of our main priorities, as we allocated large budgets for training and sent cadres to educational programs inside and outside of Iraq.

We also contracted with an American university in Baghdad to implement advanced programs in banking management, financial risks, and compliance. I mean, these guys have been hard at it working on this whole thing. The general manager of Rafidane Bank adds that enhancing financial integrity was one of our priorities, and we’ve adopted advanced systems to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, including the United Nations program that’s called the GoAML.

So, like Go Anti-Money Laundering System. That’s an interesting name. In cooperation with whom? One of the names I brought up, K2 International to Development Compliance Systems.

K2’s involved. But they’re indicating that these steps have strengthened the confidence of the international regulatory and banking authorities in the bank and contributed to improving our position in the financial market. Realize that Rafidane and Rashid Bank are state-owned banks, state-owned enterprises.

Okay, so when you see these white papers, you’re going to see things different terms sometimes, depending on how these guys talk, but that’s what they’re talking about. So, today he announced the launch of the ATM service for the first time, and the introduction of the savings card as a new service to enable customers to invest their money intelligently as well. And we are in the process of issuing a credit card, which will facilitate financial operations inside and outside Iraq, putting us in the ranks of digitally advanced banks.

Look, Iraq’s dinar is not on credit cards going live in any country until they do what they are supposed to do. But it didn’t say they did it already. They said that we’re in the process of issuing, which will facilitate financial operations inside and outside of Iraq.

That is huge, you guys, because once they’re able to use these cards outside of Iraq, they should have an international acceptable exchange rate that’s in compliance with the IMF’s Article 8, Article 4 compliance issues. So, that’s what we’re waiting for. Remember what I’ve talked about the SOMA, right? They said that the Kurdistan region was willing to keep moving forward and were focused in on the fact that they want to have the budget amendment applied, which is, I believe, an exchange rate.

So, says the general manager of the Rafdan Bank pointed out the partnerships with international institutions such as Ernst & Young developing banking governance also along with K2 Global to enhance financial compliance, noting that these partnerships have increased the efficiency of our operations and made us more in line with international banking standards. Well, what are these two companies working on? Privatizing the bank, the Rashid and Rafdan Bank. What’s one of the last things that they’re going to do? Is they’re going to take their state-owned enterprises and move them into the private sector, which is one of the, if you read the white papers that are out there and the data that’s on it, it is a complex issue and it’s a very risky issue.

But if you look at what they do to do it and you understand and read the whole thing, if you’ve been following along with us all this time, you’re going to say, well, Iraq’s done this, Iraq’s done that, they’re doing this, they’ve done that, they’ve done that, all of that. It’s almost like a mind blower. It’s a 15-page document today.

I put a link in Discord. You guys just read the document. Yeah, it’s not point blank, but it’s actually something that every single person that’s invested in the If you don’t know what you’re on and you have depression or anything like that, because a lot of people do.

I know a lot of people are hurting out there. It’s tough. Trust me on this one.

I’ve been through some personal things in my life and I fully been around here for well over 10 years doing this. And what do I do? We reach out with Bush and Manicou and we help people understand what they own. And that’s really important.

And I would suggest everybody take that a little bit more seriously than maybe some of them do. But anyway, all of you that do take it very seriously, thank you very much because your comments are really much appreciated. And it always brings a smile to my face when I read people in our forum, in our Discord chat room that get it and see it and understand it and are a little bit more relaxed.

And they probably sleep a little better at night. But anyway, so this last one of the last ones I have tonight is Baghdad municipality. It says most 2025 projects are in the completion stages and will be completed soon.

So they’re talking about 2025 projects. Well, if you guys realize that there’s a tripartite budget, what does that mean? One of the things that does mean is that they can do operational spending for citizens for payments for salaries on the operational side of it, not the retroactive side of the things, but they also have an investment. So if they have to do specific types of things that are specifically for the citizens needs out of that budget, out of that tripartite budget, they can do that.

Anything above and beyond that new projects, major projects in infrastructure stuff, refineries and things like that, that single window is going to be part of that. We already went over it. I’m not going to do that again.

But anyway, keep in mind that if Al-Alaq has recently talked about what? A digital dinar. And he also talked about financing industrial projects. That’s the central bank’s job, the currency and big money.

That’s what they’re about. Here’s an article also later on today. It says integration of work between local governments and the federal government is the most important foundation for success in the current phase.

The current phase. So they’re going to have, they’re going to need to have success. That white paper today, for instance, it talks about how tough this is.

They need to have success. Prime Minister Mohamed Shihel Sedani stressed integration in working between local governments and the federal government is the most prominent foundations for success. Again, current state, what are they talking about? Making sure they have a success.

I believe that they’ve accomplished all that or they wouldn’t be talking about it at this stage because this is a global event. That’s how I see it. It says the prime minister, the rise of voices of discord and defeated hatred is an attempt to take Iraq into the unknown.

So what he’s basically talking about is that he’s had some negative blowback from the media, which isn’t uncommon. As you all well know, here in the United States, the negative media is rampant. Probably is all over the world, but ultimately the truth is going to be told.

It says al-Sudani today, right? Or yeah, it was today, who wore Arab dress noted it was the first time he had worn this dress as it was a confirmation and a sign of pride in the tribe’s honorable stances. He explained that tribes have been present since the founding of the Iraqi state and they play a role in supporting the security forces and enforcing the law. And he’s not lying.

And when they say dress, he’s not wearing a dress. He’s wearing their clothing out of respect. He stressed that Iraq is moving in the right direction and has not witnessed real stability and development for years like this that we’re doing now.

He’s talking about as attested by international and local institutions. Again, he’s invoking international and local institutions. He knows that despite the gravity of the situation, Iraq has avoided regional events while maintaining its support from the Palestinian cause and Lebanon.

And everyone is now waiting for Iraq to read the regional scene. Here’s another one today. It says al-Sudani is moving in the right direction.

The prime minister, Sheikh al-Sudani, affirmed on Monday that Iraq is moving in the right direction, noting that everyone is looking to Iraq’s role and its interpretation of what is happening in the region. So they’re looking for understanding, right? In his speech during his visit to the al-Bahatha district in Misan, al-Sudani said, the tribe has been present since the founding of the Iraqi state and plays a role in supporting the security forces, enforcing the law, enforcing the law. So in other words, what he’s also saying to them is that that’s their responsibility is to enforce the law.

And the tribal leaders probably get that picture quite clearly. That is part of their job, is to maintain their people and to keep them within that law. He points out that wearing of Arab dress was a confirmation and a sign of pride in the tribe’s honorable stances, going on to say that we have great confidence in our tribes to be at the forefront of supporting the national discourse and building the state.

So he’s wearing their tribal dress and he’s also giving them kudos and giving them respect. And that’s really a powerful thing, because he’s going to need them. Again, back to the white papers.

You got to really read it and you’ll understand where I’m coming from. He points out that his visit to Misan government aims to inaugurate a number of projects and launch implementation work and others. Noting that Misan will be an oil and industrial city.

That’s huge, you guys. They’re talking about building a state and they’re going to do it with having everybody on board. So even the politicians, which are many of the tribal leaders, by the way, need to be on board for this, because that’s what he’s doing.

He’s using, he’s needing to use the people and the tribal leaders at the same time. So he needs that backing for everybody. And so that’s what he’s been doing, is cascading the reality of where we’re going.

Al-Alaq has come out and said digital dinar. They’re ready to do the final stage, which is to do the new projects. That’s the part of the expense that they’re going to need that exchange rate for.

So anyway, today was the 31st. Eid al-Fitr was closed today. We know that the Kurdistan region is going to be off for a week.

I’m not sure if they’re going to be celebrating or not, but I sure hope to God they are. Okay. So enjoy your, enjoy your study with us, with Militiaman and crew.
